Looking for something lively to set your home apart? While all white kitchens are gorgeous, they aren’t for everyone. For someone who loves color and wants to encapsulate their personal style in their home, don’t be afraid to play with unexpected paint-color pairings while designing your dream space. Whether you are looking to create a bold impression or add subtle character to your home, bringing pops of color to the kitchen is the perfect way to personalize the space.
One of my favorite colors to incorporate into renovated spaces is blue. Blues can set the tone for interior design everywhere, let alone in the kitchen. It is also the perfect choice if you’re looking for a bright color that has neutral undertones. Another perk of this color option is that blue is always soothing, regardless of the hue, even so, different blues can radiate different vibes and conjure different moods.
Navy blue is considered to be the most neutral of blue colors and can be leaned into to create a bold and striking space or can be toned down to create a soft or coastal vibe. Once paired with different accents in your countertops, backsplash and flooring you can really create any look with this shade.
At Your Cabinet Girl, we decided to pair our navy cabinetry with a countertop that shows a striking blue veining, then chose accented colored fixtures in gold, to finish the look. We brought this elevated style to life with the option of our shaker or raised panel cabinets in polar white and mythic blue finishes, we then paired our cabinetry Cambria portrush countertops and Amerock monument handles in the color champagne bronze.
